Toyota Motor Company requested us to make two conference halls in one room.

Tasks

Conference hall of Toyota Motor office was to be designed in a discreet and refined style. It should hold:

• meetings, seminars, study
• video demonstrations
• meetings in two different halls separated by sliding partition
• meetings in the joint conference hall.

Hardship

There were no difficulties in the course of project imple¬mentation owing to accurate acoustic design.

Project description

At client's will video equipment (multimedia projector with teleobjective lens) was mounted in a motorized lift for a Draper projector. Reflecting technology of image transmission allows hiding the projector at the most and leaving the room interior as it is.

The conference hall structurally consists of projection system, sound system for two parts of the hall, audio and video signals switching system, and control system for all the equipment. Only one multimedia projector is used in the hall, and depending on the conference hall work schedule it projects to the near or far screen. The necessity of auto focusing on different screens demanded changing not only zoom setting of the projector but also overfocusing and changing Lens Shift setting.

The palmtop with Wi-Fi-interface functions as the direct control device for the users. Thus, all the controlling is accomplished by wireless bridge from any part of the hall which is certainly very convenient. Thanks to the control system, the equipment control interface of the whole hall is simple enough for any person. Instead of complicated switching image and sound operations, projector readjustment, the users got intuitive interface and a number of scenarios of conference hall functioning, each one being responsible for multiple operations with different equipment systems, such as projector switching on/off, zoom and focus adjustment, screen lowering, lift opening, etc.
